Winner of the Portrait Society of America's Grand Prize and the People's Choice Award in 2004, Laura's classical training influences her representational painting style. Working primarily from life, her subjects include portraits, landscapes, and still life's which are displayed in the following galleries and may also be commissioned upon request. Laura has been recognized on both the national and international level with paintings amongst many fine art collections including The New Britain Museum of American Art, of New Britain, CT.




After receiving her BFA from the University of New Hampshire, Laura then trained privately with the Boston School painter Paul Ingbretson, followed by a year of study at the Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy.




Currently Laura paints in her Hamilton, MA studio as well as in Boston at the historic Fenway Studios. Laura also teaches at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Comments or inquiries may be registered through the contact page.
